McDonald's franchise in the Philippines is owned by the Golden Arches Corp since 1981. McDonald's main product is hamburger, but this quick service restaurant also offers chicken and spaghetti meals. The restaurant did not find it easy to open its Boracay outlet as locals and expats living on the island vehemently opposed its entry. McDonald's is located at the Boracay Regency. It has recently opened a take-out outlet for sundaes at Serendipity Arcade along the Main Road, near D'Mall.
