Brazilian-Japanese model Daniel Matsunaga admitted he was embarrassed when Alex Gonzaga told him news about his ex-girlfriend Heart Evangelista. The Buzz host Toni Gonzaga related during Daniel’s interview this Sunday that Alex was very excited to deliver this information to Daniel during a party right after the Pinoy Big Brother Big Night.
“Unang unang sinabi ni Alex sa kanya “Uy, engaged na siHeart!”’ Toni said with a laugh.
“Oo yun yung first balita. Totoo, totoo. Naniwala ako. Siyempre nahiya ako ‘di ba first news saoutside world, uy. Sige thank you,” Daniel commented. He also said that there are no hard feelings as he and Heart have broken up three years ago. “Masaya ako para sa kanila, kasi ano me and Heart we are still friends, di ba? After our break up, matagal na, three years ago. Almost three years na. Matagal na. Siyempre masaya ako para sa kanya. Kilala ko din si Chiz. So yun, I wish them the best and may God bless their relationship, sa future nila,” he said.
On issues why a non-Filipino won PBB, Daniel again explained that he and his family feel they completely belong in the Philippines. “Tama sinabi ng kapatid ko si Vanessa. Sabi niya we don’t choose where we are born we choose where we belong. Totoo eh, may asawa siya Filipino. I have family, Filipino. And we love this country, that’s why God had a purpose for us to be here, today. Talagang we love the Philippines that’s why we live here. We chose to stay here. We belong here kaya talagang pusong Pinoy,” Daniel explained. “Pero kung kelangan ng dugo, sige pupunta akongMakati Med. Dagdag ako ng dugo,” he even added as a joke.
As of now, Daniel says he is busy with work. “I have two movies. Shake Rattle and Roll. And the other one I’m not sure [what’s it about] yet,” Daniel shared.
