MANILA - Mary Christine Jolly, the estranged wife of Derek Ramsay, faced cameras on Friday with a clear message to the embattled actor -- she is not backing down from their legal dispute.
Speaking with reporters, Jolly challenged Ramsay to face his obligations to their 11-year-old son, who she claimed was abandoned by the "No Other Woman" actor.

Earlier this month, Jolly lodged a complaint against Ramsay for allegedly violating Republic Act No. 9262, otherwise known as the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act.
According to Jolly, she and Ramsay met in 2001, and got married in 2002 in Balagtas, Bulacan -- claims the actor confirmed in his counter-affidavit.
Jolly added she and Ramsay eventually separated due to disagreements. She went on to live in Dubai, where she raised their son by herself. She said she decided to contact Ramsay again after their son asked about him as he was growing up.
Jolly claimed that she and Ramsay are still legally married.
In an earlier statement, Ramsay said he only confirmed that the boy introduced to her by Jolly was indeed his son in August 2011.
Explaining why he did not reveal that he has a son at the time, Ramsay said: "I wanted to know my son first and keep my relationship with him private. [He] was just an 8-year-old boy then and he would not be able to comprehend the possible media curiosity about him, especially since he was then new to the country and about to pursue his education here."
"Given the circumstances between Mary and I, which is far from ideal, I had to protect [my son] first," said Ramsay, who joined showbiz as early as 2005.
Ramsay's camp has said the actor will address Jolly's accusations in court. -- Report from Zhander Cayabyab, DZMM
