Robin Padilla has expressed his dismay over the runway scene of Coco Martin during the Bench Naked Truth fashion show where he was pulling a woman on a leash while he was walking down the ramp.
He stressed that art should uphold gender equality.
Robin underscored that what happened during the fashion show is a major discrimination among women.
The online world was set abuzz recently about the said segment in the show. Netizens and women activists group have expressed their disapproval over the said fashion show that very much exploited women.
Bench Clothing has issued a public apology last Tuesday about the said controversy saying that they will “take all these concerns seriously and will serve as a lesson learned.” Bench added that they will “continue to uphold the dignity of women” in all their endeavors.
