Currently busy working on his third movie with Kim Chiu, Kapamilya heartthrob Xian Lim admitted he is excited to finish the project which he dedicates to all the KimXi fans. The Star Cinema film, which promises to have a unique storyline, also stars Ai-Ai De las Alas. “The storyline is really different. Casting is iba, kasama namin si Miss Ai-Ai. Ngayon dire-diretso yung shooting naminso mapapalabas na maybe by next month or two months from now. We’re on our 13th shooting day so sa lahat ng naghihintay heto na finally. This one for sureginagawa namin ang the best we can and siyempre we’re going to be here for all the fans of course,” he said during the Robinson’s Supermarket “Ways to Wellness” event held last September 12 at Robinson’s Metro East in Cainta.
During the Star Magic Ball earlier this month, Xian said he was happy to escort Kim again down the red carpet. He said he was pleasantly surprised by his date’s sexy backless gown this year. “It’s different. It’s pretty cool na paiba iba siya every year. Many times ko na siyang nakasama and it’s just really elegant. It’s elegant with sexiness, okay naman,” he recalled.
The 25-year-old actor also took the chance to defend their fans against reports they were supposedly against the two being paired with other actors and actresses in future projects. “Well they’re very supportive. They understand that we’re just doing our job. Kumbaga passion namin ang umarte at kung sino man ang maka-partner naming talagang todo suporta silang lahat,” he added.
Xian said he also does not want to limit his projects to just one leading lady because he just wants to become a good actor. “Wala namang ganun. Ako ang wini-wish ko ay sana magkaroon na ako ngproject soon because there’s a lot of people waiting and if ever I do get that, promise na ibibigay ko ang lahat ko and I won’t let them down,” he shared.
After Enchong Dee finally introduced his non-showbiz girlfriend to the public by bringing her to the Star Magic Ball, the media pressed Xian to divulge when he will go the same route, hopefully with Kim. “Naku, well for right now we’re just going to focus on the movie. In perfect time. Perfect timing po yanand if ever ipapaalam ko agad sa inyo and I want it to be special. Everything dapat special,” he admitted. When asked if there was any doubt as to whom the special girl will be, Xian said he has only eyes for the pretty chinita. “Alam niyo sa totoo lang alam naman ni Kim na may gusto ako sa kanya. Alam naman ni Kim na crush na crush ko siya eh. So I’m just here, I’m just happy na she’s happy,” he admitted.
Aside from a possible new teleserye in the works, Xian said he is also excited to start focusing on his music career again. “I’m coming up with another album. Siyempre pagkatapos nito I’m going to write more and that’s something to look forward to,” he said.
