That song is so incredibly difficult. I can't believe you're 14. That sounded insane. I think that was my favorite performance of yours ever. Well done!," said X Factor judge Natalie Bassingthwaighte.
Fellow judge Dannii Minogue couldn't agree more.
"Definitely by far your best performance on X Factor," she said. "It takes a brave person to take on a song like that".
But Minogue said she was still looking for something from Punzalan.
Meanwhile, Redfoo said songs with high notes are really the teenager's 'strong points'.
"Now this your strength, singing these big songs with the big notes. It's ironic because you're 14 years old and you can sing the big notes like it's nobody's business. I want to see more of these types of songs because this is your strong points and it sounded great," he said.
Punzalan's mentor, Ronan Keating was all praises for Punzalan, whom he said have had 'an incredible week'.
"I'm so proud of you. You've had an incredible week, getting to sing at AFL the national anthem, what a moment at 14 years old," said Keating.
Punzalan sang the Australian National Anthem before the start of the Australian Football League first qualifying final last week.
"I hope Australia realizes that but I don't want that to be the reason people to vote for you. I want that performance to be the reason why people would vote for you. You are incredible! What a voice, what a talent. Great job!
Joining Punzalan on the X Factor's Top 8 are Caitlyn Shadbolt, Dean Ray, Tee, Brothers 3, Reigan Derry, Rochelle Pitt, and Jason Heerah.
