TEACHERS TOUR THE GMA STUDIO WITH ENZO PINEDA

In celebration of National Teachers’ Month, GMA Corporate Affairs, in partnership with Metrobank Foundation, had a treat for educators -- a free tour around the GMA Studios last September 12.

Teachers from Claret School of Quezon City, Sanlex Divine Grace Academy, Camp Crame High School, FEU FERN College, Culiat Elementary School, and San Diego Elementary School got to visit the different studios of GMA, and the DZBB AM radio station and Barangay LS 97.1 FM radio station where they met German “Kuya Germs” Moreno and DJ Papa Baldo.

As they explored the GMA Network premises, the teachers were pleasantly surprised when they were introduced to Kapuso actor Enzo Pineda.

Fresh from his flight from a show in Bicol, Enzo joined, and even facilitated, the rest of the tour with the teachers. He showed them around Studio 7, the studio that housed Sunday All Stars every Sunday. Enzo got candid with the educators and shared with them some of his experiences in the said studio.

“Masarap sa feeling kasi parang tinu-tour ko lang sila sa bahay ko. Ang GMA ang second home ko naman talaga. Nandito na ko for 5 years. Kabisadong-kabisado ko na talaga tong GMA,” said the StarStruck alumnus.

The young actor, who is currently finishing his degree in Business Management through home schooling, reminisced about his past teachers. He said that he owed much of his success to his previous mentors.

“Kung hindi dahil sa kanila, wala ako dito ngayon sa profession ko. Hindi ko pinursue ‘yung mga pangarap ko sa buhay at ‘yung mga values na pinanghahawakan ko ngayon.”

“I’m just really thankful na sa buong buhay ko, madami akong teachers na tinrato ko na ring parang magulang ko dahil sa dami ng mga natutunan ko sa kanila. How to handle life itself, all the knowledge and wisdom that they gave me are so useful, nagagamit ko pa until now,” he added.

Before they bid goodbye, Enzo granted the visitors photo op and autographs. “It’s a fun experience. And thankful ako na nabigyan ako ng chance na gawin yon. And it’s very humbling,” said the talented performer.
