VHONG NAVARRO ADMITS TO BEING DEPRESSED OVER CEDRIC LEE,RAZ AND CORNEJO RELEASE

Comedian Vhong Navarro could not help but feel depressed over the release of Cedric Lee, Zimmer Raz and Deniece Cornejo from jail. The three involved in his alleged mauling incident got out of prison because they were allowed to put up bail early this morning.

 “Siyempre nalungkot. Nadepress. Naiyak nga ako noong gabi. Di ko alam san nanggaling yung luha bigla na lang bumagsak,” Vhong told Marie Lozano in his interview withBandila. 

Vhong added he is most worried about his family’s safety, specially since he will be leaving for It’s Showtime’s Canadian tour. “Ngayon unti-unting nagsisink in ulit. Kasi siyempre, ito na nga yung pamilya ko, babalik dun sa kung ano yung naranasan ko sa loob nun condominium. Yung mga paratang na binigay sa akin, 'di ba yung pagtututok sa akin ng baril, yung kung anong sinabing pwedeng mangyari sa pamilya ko at sa akin.”

The Street Boys member however, thanks his supporters for their continued prayers and trust in him. He further emphasized that he only told the truth and is saddened that this is not enough for some people. “Galit sila. Natutuwa ako kasi sa pagdadasal nila, patuloy pa rin dun. Kasi napakasimple kong tao eh ano ako eh, gusto ko lang masaya lang. Ayoko na mayroon taong naargabyado. Yung mga binibintang sa kin na isa akong rapist, masakit yun. Alam ko at alam ng Panginoon na di ko ginawa yun pero ibibintang say o, ako sinabi ko lahat kung ano yung totoo at meron kaming ebidensya. Hindi ako nagloloko, di ako gumawa ng storya sinabi ko lahat at meron kaming katibayan. ‘Di ko alam siguro sa iba, ‘di pa sapat yung katibayan na yun,” he stated. 

Although disappointed, Vhong said his camp will continue to fight for the truth. “Tuloy-tuloy pa din naman yun kaso namin. Siguro andyan naman yung justice eh. Kaya lang siguro, bakubako lang ang daan. “

Vhong’s lawyers has submitted to the court new evidence that Cedric’s group convened at a certain Ritz Condominium, as opposed to Cedric saying they just met up at Forbeswood, where Deniece lived. Vhong’s legal team said this will strengthen their perjury case against the group.
